Intro
I created Rex to assist international students relocating to San Diego, offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to ease their transition and enhance their experience abroad. Recognizing that studying in a new country can be both exciting and overwhelming, Rex provides support across housing assistance, mobile setup, local orientation, ongoing guidance, and curated social events that foster connection and cultural exchange — all aimed at helping students feel at home from the moment they arrive.
Understanding that students face uncertainty when moving abroad, I developed the Rex brand around a persona symbolizing a friendly and “always by your side” companion. Inspired by man’s best friend, Rex embodies loyalty, support, and approachability — qualities that resonate with students seeking a reliable partner during their time away from home.
From the visual identity to the tone of communication, every aspect of the brand was crafted to convey warmth and trustworthiness, ensuring that students feel supported every step of the way.
